8:09 PM

In this event Microsoft will show best practices for WinForms including data access, security, performance, etc.  And the second half of the show will be about all the ultra cool new features of WinForms in Whidbey (and there are tons of them).

Oh.  Wait.  There is no such Road Show.

Never mind.

[Microsoft: why not?  This is worth showing off!]

Update!

Directly from Robert Green, Program Manager in the Visual Basic group:

“Actually, there is a WinForms RoadShow this year. It's called DevDays. There is an entire track devoted to building WinForms apps. Check it out at http://msdn.microsoft.com/events/devdays/agenda/smartclient/default.aspx.

Session 1: Best Practices for Designing and Building Smart Client Applications
Session 2: The Ins and Outs of Secure Data Access
Session 3: Developing Secure Smart Client Applications
Session 4: Deploying and Maintaining Smart Client Applications

We are also doing a VB User Group tour, which is essentially a Roadshow.
We'll be focusing on smart client there, both VS 2003 and Whidbey.“

ULTRA COOL!!!
